WiMAX Global Cooperation Summit

WiMAX Global Cooperation Summit

Meet Sprint, UQ, Unwired and Intel!

The WiMAX Global Cooperation Summit will be held on December 17, 2008, and is organized by the M-Taiwan and the CoCID. Speakers include representatives of Intel, Sprint Nextel, UQ Communications and Unwired Co. This summit allows participants to gain insight into the global WiMAX development trends and issues. Discussion will also include the merger of Sprint Nextel/Clearwire, and its impact on WiMAX development outlook.

Taiwan is recognized as the most progressive promoter of WiMAX, and its M-Taiwan project has received global attention from the WiMAX community. Industry leaders will be involved to share their experiences.

Sprint Nextel introduced WiMAX service in Baltimore, Maryland (U.S.A.). The service enhances WiMAX to the next stage of deployment. In the summit, global cooperation strategies such as these can be used as a reference model for all WiMAX Partners and players coming to Taiwan for their total solution needs. By cooperating with key international players, this summit serves as a platform for WiMAX networks in Taiwan to connect with the world.
