BIOGRAPHY

Eric Hamilton is CTO of wireless broadband provider Unwired Australia.

Since joining Unwired in 2003 Eric has been responsible for the design, implementation and operation of the Unwired network, and is now working on growth plans and its transition to WiMAX. Eric is a former Vice President - Networks of Ozemail, where he managed the national IP network supporting 200,000 customers and before that was a Director IP Networks and Director e-Technology for Cable & Wireless Optus. Eric has been a consultant to Request, Commander, Ericsson and Vytel and gained 9 years of valuable experience with Telstra and OTC, including Telstra Multimedia and On-Australia.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.1st Class) from the University of Canterbury and a PhD in Electrical Engineering (University of Canterbury).
